I have been all over this forum and read mucho information. It seems from dyno runs and tuning that the restriction in the 5th gen LGT system is the intake. So i guess I was hoping that since the STI motor has so much more power than ours to start with, and it is tuneable to find increases from there, that maybe the STI manifold would lessen the restrictions on the intake end and provide better flow for our cars to make even more power than when a stock intake manifold is coupled with the Racer-X TMIC upgrade.
The intake actually is pretty decent. I imagine it is the larger intercooler and turbo that contribute to that extra power in the STI.
