Here comes the " stealership " comments................
The problem with the service manager and service advisors is that they don't know sh*t about cars. I'm sorry you had a bad experience. Try another dealer and be persistent. Does this one have awd? The only Subaru that doesn't is the brz. I have 2 advisors that write for my team. I have to constantly explain to them common repairs. Keep in mind both have done this job for over 5 years. We have had 3 service managers in 7 years. The first two were number crunchers who had no idea how a car worked past putting gas in and turning the key yet were on a constant power trip. Our current service manager used to be our shop foreman ( the tech that techs ask when they need help ) and he knows what's up. Sounds like you got involved with the former and not the latter. Keep your head up and look for a good dealer around you.
