The RPM at 65 mph in my post, came from observing my own 2012. The RPM at 65 mph in the second instance, came from requesting a number from a fellow board member, who owns a 2013 6MT Legacy.
I did not see that the OP was asking anything at all concerning the GT - or a comparison between the GT and the N/A Legacy transmissions, so all of my numbers are for N/A Legacies in 2012 and 2013. Considering the published difference in final drive between the two years, the differences in RPM seem logical.
If I am wrong, please help me to learn why, instead of simply telling me I am wrong.
