Ah, thank you. I didn't know the downshift should feel as smooth as the upshift, as logical as that sounds. I'll have to try double de-clutching then. As a driving enthusiast this is something I want to learn, but I've never seen any other average drivers do it and they still manage it relatively smoothly.
