Best bet for you people with harsh winters is to swap to stock stuff or struts/springs for winter.

If that is not an option, clean them thoroughly, and as said above, anti-sieze, anti-sieze, anti-sieze. Coat everything threaded. Also try to spray the salt off from time to time.
