Whatís up? My name is John, and I drive a 2011 Subaru Legacy 2.5i Premium. Had I realized I would have enjoyed modifying my vehicle as much as I do now I would have totally gone with the LGT. I started with simple mods and every time I completed a project the car just kept looking better and better. Before I knew it, I became addicted to working on my car.

Disclaimer: I am a complete newb, like a complete complete newb. This is my first forum site ever, I don't even know what I'm doing with this and I'm doing my best to make it happen utilizing various tutorials around the web. Also I'm a newb to Subaru's and auto-mechanics. So I'm sorry but although I do all my own modifications, I rely on the expert users here and other you-tube tutorials and how-to videos (or text guides) plus my dad lends me tools and some general tips and tricks.
Iím looking to meet with other members, learn more about this stuff, and keep on modifying my car. Hopefully eventually Iíll be posting useful guides as well.
The mod list for my vehicle is very extensive, mostly visual and only a few performance mods (But that's because what can I really do to my SOHC) Also note that I understand that my car kind of screams rice overload, but I tried to keep every mod tasteful in the effect that they look somewhat professional as well as not too overdone:
(The window tint, exhaust, and stereo head unit wire harness merge so far are the only things done by a shop otherwise I have done everything else myself) Iíll answer any questions too if youíre interested in how I may have done something.
So Iíll start with the performance mods first since that will be a smaller list:
- Takeda TR-4303p Short Ram Cold Air Intake (Excuse the mud all over the engine bay, I took her wheeling onceÖ..never again, too dirty and too dangerous for my beautiful car lol Iíve been wiping it down little by little)

- K&N Oil Filter (Accompanied by a self oil change using synthetic oil)
- Cat back Exhaust setup (100% custom fab, since nothing exists for the SOHC that Iíve found)
o Aero Performance Resonator
o 2.5in piping (I think the guy said it was 2.5 from the resonator to the muffler flange and then 2.0 from the muffler flange to the actual muffler)
o Carbon fiber 4in outlet Tip
o So far the exhaust sounds great, the aftermarket resonator helps keep the rice burn at a minimum, and Iím working on figuring a way to use my stock flanges on the headers to rig my own UELs and possibly delete the cats from my mid pipe. Obviously ive kept all my old tubing and had new pieces built in a modular fashion so I can put the old kit back together to pass emissions and then 123 bolt my aftermarket pipe right back on.

That pretty much does it for the performance mods. Now for the visuals (Iíll try my best to keep this organized by category):
- 3m Color Stable window tints
o 5% rear windshield and passengers
o 20% front driver and passenger
o 50% front windshield (Broke from a rock, replacing the tint very soon)
- Head Lights:
o Notto SE 8000K HID Kit for Lo and Hi beams
o The parking light has been replaced with a red 5smd LED
o The side marker bulb has been replaced with an amber 5smd LED
o There is like 9 coats of VHT NiteShades on each light, which brings to my next upcoming modification. Iím sick of being pulled for tints all the time so Iím going to tone it down by blacking out my head light housings.
o I have a blue led 7440 size replacement LED waiting to be installed in the turning signal spot as soon as I can clear that amber from the housing.
o The tail lights are NightShaded as well nothing really special, I do plan on pulling them out and painting the insides black and then toning the tint on the bottom white portion down.
