There are two different cup holder designs for the US. One from 95 to 97, which has two same-sized openings (they hold most drinks but not bottles), and the one from 98 to 99 that has one larger and one smaller opening. The larger one will hold a plastic 20 oz bottle. I don't really like the way that the second design opens up..
