I say go for it. It's not the most top quality finish you're going to find but it does hold up pretty well and if done right looks pretty dam good. You also can't beat the price. If you end up liking up and when its due to be redone, get them powder coated. If you don't like...just peel it off.

Also read up on best ways to apply plastidip, maybe waste a can or two practicing on a spare wheel or other random part to get the right feel for it. You for sure don't want to be too close, but you also don't want to be too far away or the texture will be VERY rough and hard to clean when it's dry because you'll end up with layers of dried overspray essentially, which will hold, but like I said will be textured really heavily.
