Your wife has good advice unless you're getting a new engine under good will or something similar. If you have to pay the full cost I'd say screw it and return it if you can. But it's your call, you'd end up with a new engine I guess...

EDIT: P0700 is a transmission code...why is it throwing this code if you have a spun bearing?
