Paint job was 3500 including taking out dings and dents. It was a 3 stage paint job meaning 3 layers for the paintwork. It was solvent based not water based paint. Paint layers were blue base color coat then World Rally Blue base metallic coat, followed finally by hard clear coat. Engine bay is still dark blue. WRB cars have a dark blue base. I kept it dark blue base color in engine bay to color match with my previous WRB cars. Yes, it's true that it's got a dark blue engine bay but it matches up perfectly as if it came from factory painted as it should.

The Legacy in beginning stages.





It started out as a 2005 Legacy GT Limited wagon. It's 5 speed manual version with full leather interior. Pretty nice until WRB bug hit me again. Again is because WRB is what my past WRX wagon was.

Remember: Always cut out quarter glass when doing anything like this, it is for cleaner overall results. If you don't you risk having a clearly visible line of color shift and clear coat being thin at cutoff where the molding sits.
