The hardware test mule is built and I'm working on the software now.
I would like to use this thread to get opinions about certain behaviors "tap turn" should have. Appreciate your input, and discussion, which will influence the design so I make a better product for it. (Thanks in advance).
Here's a question:
After giving a tap to set off a few blinks in a direction, if you want to cancel those blinks before they finish, should you:
0) tap the stalk in any direction and everything stops.
1) tap the stalk again in the same direction, and everything stops.
2) tap the stalk in the opposite direction, and everything stops. (Tapping in the same direction allows sequence to finish.)
3) tap the stalk in the opposite direction to stop it, but this also starts a new tap turn sequence in new direction.
4) both (1) and (3)
FYI - the product I was selling previously behaves like #3 in the list above, and I sometimes felt like I was in a cancel war that couldn't be ended so you just have to let it run out. I want to gain control over that so I propose other ideas above. Personally, I lean toward wanting (4) above.
