This is an old post!
On the way home from work today I could hear a thump thump thump and the car seemed to be shaking just a bit at 60mph. I thought maybe I had something stuck in my tire and pulled over. The tires looked fine. Back on the road and the noise and vibration are gone, at least while accelerating. Vibration again when cruising. The vibration disappears when the engine is under load or when braking?
Pull over again, nothing dragging, tires look ok, axles and boots look ok. Back on the road and the same continues. After a few miles I start to hear a ticking noise from the front left. As I keep going I start to hear short squeaks too. Short squeaks that change with vehicle speed but still go away while braking or when the engine is under load. I really don't know what to think of this. Anyone care to make a hypothesis?
My other car is a 1993 Chevy S-10 Tahoe! (Currently being driven to failure by my nephew)
