It may just be an n=1 situation but one of the members was having a ton of smoke on a new BNR16G and IIRC and Bryan's recommendation was to go back to the stock banjo setup to reduce overflow... Worth checking as it's a concern both from an oil flow, as well as oil windage perspective, internal to the turbo.
