I don't really do group buys, for several reasons...
- We've done them in the past, and they're a headache to administer.
- People ALWAYS commit and then drop out.
- Group buy customers tend to want the full support that we offer to "regular" retail customers. They call for tech support, product questions, warranty claims, and spare parts. (Not that I blame them.) So we get all the cost of a retail customer, but not the revenue.
- I think group buys train customers to wait for group buys to buy, rather than just buy when they want the item.
From feedback I get from many customers, group buys can be quite frustrating for the customer as well, since the final selling price of the item, as well as the delivery time, can be uncertain.
So, sorry, no group buy. But know that we'll have it here for the long haul, so whenever you want it, you should be able to get it from us.
