Some quick photos of the finished prototype is a 4-2-1 technically and the layout flows well! This design was chosen because it makes more sense than other the typical UEL on the market.
1 5/8" primaries and 1 3/4" secondaries, 2 1/4" final diameter. Will bolt directly to the 2.5i cat/mid pipe and retains the stock O2 locations. The material is mild but look for the production units to be S304. However you could see S409 with ceramic coating as well. Catalytic converters are ceramic double dipped combs (same as OEM) and all bends are mandrel not stretch, and full TIG welded. Ports are gasket matched and fit over or past the lower driver side engine mount!
Looks good but just curious why they would use an OEM cat instead of a high flow cat? Nice that you 06+ guys will have some bolt on options now.
