I'm having a similar problem with my 04 Outback, so I thought I would piggyback on this thread. Its throwing both belts. I replaced a slightly damaged alternator/PS belt and it threw both belts again. It looks like there may be an alignment problem with the pulleys. The pulley on the engine looks like there may be a slight wobble to it when the engine is at idle. Do I have a bad pulley?
