The camera is held with both a safety strap and a 1/4-20 bolt (standard thread for a camera). So that is all that involved. A few of the people that have bought mounts have asked about a quick release version. I'm working on a mod to use a threaded knob for "tool-less" adjustment and release. Again, it just adds more cost.
