I joined ACA well ahead of my purchase, but was able to negotiate a better deal when it came time to buy. is a good barometer of deals to be had.....VIP takes the negotiating out of it, but it's sometimes possible to get a better deal. My deal was $950 less than VIP at the time (Nov 2004).
