There are some minor differences but I'm not really sure about the details that are likely to affect what you want to do. In Australia the Legacy is known as Liberty due to problems with using the name Legacy here. There are obvious differences such as no rear wiper, back panel saying Subaru instead of Legacy, etc but that's not the sort of thing that is going to worry you.

As far as I know RSK stands for Road Sports Kompressor.

The naming can get a bit confusing at times. With BE series a JDM B4 RS is a 2.0l normally aspirated car and a B4 RSK is a 2.0l twin turbo. In Australia the 2.0 litre twin turbo is known as the B4 whereas the normally aspirated cars didn't use the B4 nomenclature. I'm not 100% sure but I believe New Zealand just get JDM models anyway so they probably use the same naming as the Japs.
