You would have to create a 7440 to 7443 wiring harness. The 7443 socket would have to be modified to fit, but it works. I don't have switchbacks, but I have my 7443 LEDs setup so the low +V (dim)...

AFAIK, there is an amber lens covering the chrome that is simply unscrewed and removed. Then you need to replace the 7440 bulb with a 7440A. I replaced mine with a 7443A LED and wired it up as such....

With the DRL resistor unplugged, the bulb will work at full voltage only when the high beams are activated. As far as I can tell (and correct me if I'm wrong), those relay harness for LED DRLs only...

You can bypass the DRL resistor by disconnecting the harness and inserting a jumper wire into the open connector's terminals. That will directly ground the DRL circuit as if the high beams were on...

The brake lights are definitely standard 7443 sockets, not CK sockets.

Btw, 7440 is a single circuit socket, 7443 is a dual circuit (High/low) socket.

The tail lights are standard 7443...
