K&N worth it???

I have one on order but I know it will not increase HP at all but does it help in gas or engine sound? I have the 2.5i so I am not excpecting much.

I actually offered to buy the 18's from the GT model and they said no. What?? Its the same body and (I think) drivetrain less the turbo.
