The warranty is a piece of mind. You don't really need it but when junk hits the fan your glad you had it. Think of it as supplemental health insurance for your car.

My whole thing is stg2 you can spend that $1000 somewhere else like suspension and tires. I still believe the stock intercooler is plenty for stage 2 even though a front mount will help a bit.
