FYI, group N tranny mount helps a bit, but on my 4th LGT, it eventually cause grinding noises when engine brakes. On top of that, 5th gen LGTs is cable shift type so you shouldn't feel any different...

The factory bushings fit around the 16mm bar. You can't fit the 19mm bar into a 16mm hole.

I would go with the group n stuff, the price is right. As for the install, all you need is a 14 mm deep socket and an extension, There are only 10 nuts/bolts. It took me about 20 min. in my driveway....

I wasn't aware there was a recall, but it's a known issue. I had mine replaced awhile back and the tech said it was the second set he had replaced this week. The hard part is getting it to act up...
