I "think" it has to do with the AVCS system, cam gear rotates to its hard stop since no oil is flowing to/from the OCV.

Will do more research and get back later.

IIRC some have mentioned the Gates belts being a tooth off. I used the OEM part which also was half a tooth off...weird?? Now just to confirm, all the cam timing marks line up perfectly straight...
