No problems here. My LGT kicks ass in the winter. Maybe on some crazy 2 foot dumps I'd be cautious. But, 99.5% of the time, you'll be fine.

With the tape and mounting screw secured in place the gap should be gone. If you are still having problem with the gap, sand the top left corner slightly at the inner edge should also fix the problem...
