No luck, Completley lost

Ok guys I took the transmission to a shop and they pulled out the shaft and broken ring gear for free, It was the shaf that sits on the converter that fell of and was stuck in the trans,

Got that...

I figured it out and **** I looked at the shaft...

I figured it out and **** I looked at the shaft in the tranny and noticed on the shaft that there it what looks like a ring sticking up and smashed inside the trans on the spline, Did I just mess up...

No I took the converter off the engine and seated it but from what im thinking not all the way, I honestly forgot about seating it on 2 shafts not just the one, and i bolted up the damn engine like...

yeah is seems the issue is with the tourque...

yeah is seems the issue is with the tourque converter lining up, I have pulled the engine twice since this post both times it seems like the converter is sticking and its been a pain to pull...

Ok thanks for all the info, I got the engine timed, When I line up the belt marks with the marks on the gears, I crank the engine by hand it stays in time but the timing marks on the belt dont line...
