Well a sticking iac valve does do about the same...

Well a sticking iac valve does do about the same thing, but do these cars have one? Will pop the intake ducting and see if there's any buildup.

A/C clutch pulley replacement is pretty straight forward. Mine broke in one of my older cars and made a mess, then I regretted not replacing it sooner.

It was either Purple Power or Simple Green, a bit of scrubbing with a brush and then a pressure washer. They supposedly accelerate rusting, so its important to wash it off real good.

Yes. You'd introduce air into the exhaust flow...

Yes. You'd introduce air into the exhaust flow that induces an artificial excess of O2 into the stream that is read by your O2 sensor, so your PCM will give it more fuel thinking it's running too...

Mine feels like I lose control anytime going downhill. Its quite unnerving. It accelerates past the speed set and then settles off once on flat road. Def not only yours.

Thats the most often used method at shops. Have done it plenty of times and works like a charm. You usually only have to turn the wheel to one direction and hold it there while the procedure is done....
