  1. This might help answer your question about the BNR EVO3 16G. Long story short, I've just finished a rebuild with Forged CP pistons, ARP Studs, DW65c fuel pump, ID 1000cc injectors, MRT (PW) TMIC with 3-inch TBE. Tuned by S&J here in Adelaide with ECUTEK + RaceRom 'safely' for road with our BP 98RON, and 'safely' for track on E85. Full details on the Forester and all mods >>>here<<< if you need. Very happy with the results... http://beanstalk.com.au/personal/photos/FXT/20130528_SJ_ECUTEK_Power_AFR_psi_web.jpg
  2. Not sure if it's any help or relevant to yours, but this is a photo of my BNR EVO3 16g with new BNR compressor cover and 'upgraded actuator' which comes standard now... 0.8 to 1.2bar from memory and set to 13psi when it leaves BNR. http://beanstalk.com.au/personal/photos/FXT/20130225_BNR16G_Arrives.jpg
  3. Thanks Mark, no more dyno for a while though... I just spent a bit on the dyno tuning which ended up not being used. I think the Virtual Dyno figures are a pretty good indication of where things are at based on other baseline/dyno runs I have, and the VD graphs mean more to me since all my WOT logo comparisons are done the same way - it's almost a controlled environment
  4. No worries, I wished there was more info out there when I was researching mine! I'm tuned for 98 RON which is the best pump fuel we can get over here in Oz. Bigger injectors and E85 will be the next step but not for a while now. This increase in power is more than enough to keep me happy for now!
  5. I have the BNR EVO3 16g on a MY09 Forester XT and have just finished the e-tuning process with TorquedPerformance, very happy with the results. Compared to the stock TD04 which I had running well, this obviously spools a fair bit later, but after 3,300rpm it pulls hard and keeps pulling hard all the way to redline. I was hoping by some freak it might spool earlier but in reality it's about what I expected - but the top end (on stock injectors) has far outweighed my expectations Forester MY09, 5MT with the following mods: - BNR EVO3 16g Turbo (with the new BNR compressor cover) - IP&T Filtered Turbo Oil Supply Line Kit - TCP Turbo Back Exhaust - Turbosmart 'Kompact' BPV - AEM CAI - Process West TMIC - Perrin Silicone Turbo Inlet - Grimmspeed 3 Port BCS - DW65c Fuel Pump - Iridium '1 Step Colder' Plugs We ran one tune up to 21psi with richer AFR's towards redline to see what it had, but that was pushing the IDC's and boost a bit higher than I wanted as a daily. The tune I have settled on hits just on 20psi and runs a bit leaner towards redline to keep IDC's in check. NOTE: I use Virtual Dyno for my own comparisons only. The stretch of road I use is 'almost' dead flat but dips down ever so slightly in the middle and back up towards the end. Very slightly. http://beanstalk.com.au/personal/photos/FXT/VD_20130402_BNR16G_20and21psi.jpg
  6. BNR EVO3 16G arrived today thanks Bryan. Very well packaged, looks great! Instal booked for 7th March, dyno tune on the 9th, can't wait to drive this thing http://beanstalk.com.au/personal/photos/FXT/20130225_BNR16G_Arrives.jpg
  7. Thanks again fahr_side. I have WB02 so can keep a close eye on things while driving and log the data also for MAF scaling with my tuner. Will be sure to carefully creep up to the top end with a few tune revisions. Long term plans are for larger injectors and E85 but not until I can afford to be replacing the OEM clutch!
  8. Good to know ^^^ We have 2 or 3 of the BNR EVO3 16g's going into SH9 Foresters over here in Oz and only running DW65C fuel pump with stock injectors for fuelling (for now ). Will let you know how we go!
