does anyone actually know the limit of cam advance possible using the USDM cam setup? boostsr20 had 38 degrees of AVCS and I was under the impression (as were a lot of people in that enginuity thread) that ~30 was the max our cam gears could do
heres the interesting thing about running 0 ol/cl delays;
the ecu logic just abandons calculated load and RPM params and uses the primary fuel table to set AFRs; it even trims out with the o2 sensor.
edit: I was being a bit simplistic with how it acts.
If you have an AP v1, you can just download the rom with ecuflash, open it with enginuity, and copy iover all the relevant tables to ST.
That would get you around the PT/ST locking, but still give you real-time tuning.
