  1. Awesome write-up/walkthough... thanks! Side notes: * The clips that came on my Hawk pads for the rear were not needed - I simply removed them, as they were not on my OEMs, either... * The clips on the front, however, must push the pad back off the rotor when the brakes are not applied so they don't contsantly ride the rotor. Be sure they are installed so they are OVER the OEM clips that you clean & reinstall. It makes reinstallation of the caliper a bit more difficult, as you must keep the new pads in the proper/flush position - the spring clip wants to push them off the rotors (and in the way of the caliper upon reintallation.) I added a bit of high-temp/brake grease here, as well, to keep the clips free & moving, as well as (hopefully) corrosion free for the life of the new pads (see picture). Lastly, I followed the "bedding" procedure outlined herein, and my rotors turned true & smooth, and feel (& look) great... Thanks again!
  2. Thanks, Goneskiian - drives me nuts, too. It seems like "manual" is just one of those words alot of us have a mental block with... LOL
  3. It took a couple more beers & a few tries, but patience prevailed. I think I kept hitting some insulation or something... I put the grommet back on after the photo... http://legacygt.com/forums/showthread.php?t=103253 Thumpin' now, though! and please don't make fun of my small crack! Thanks, guys...
  4. Anyone have an issue finding a nice spot to get power through their firewall? My '06 LGT 5-spd is not being very cooperative. Tried the grommet by the driver's left foot - any other no-drill access I can look for? Thanks - JER5EY
  5. I can't get from the grommet (under the dash) to up by the hood release cable area (where the fender & body opening is exposed under the hood. Tried using the wire and a snake in both directions... '06 LGT... Any ideas??? Thanks - JER5EY
