I have test fit various size 18" wheels on my 08 Spec.B. The best fit in my opinion is the 18x8.5 in +45 or +48. I tried a 18x9.5 +38 and the wheel stuck out from the fender about an inch but...

Got back from Japan, then installed new STi springs and Genome Titan front strut tower bar. The Wangan lower arm bar will be getting installed soon.

Wow, so then it might not be so bad to do more cutting on the stock bumper just to get the grill to fit, since nearly everything including the headlights need to be changed just for the bumper.
