Great tips Johnegg. Did the swap today. Changed axle, knuckle and lower ball joint.
Had trouble with the pinch bolt so I just changed the whole ball joint since I was swapping knuckles anyway....

Excellent thread. Purchased for $12 and 13mm...

Excellent thread.
Purchased for $12 and 13mm worked perfectly on rear diff.
Plugs were in there pretty tight. Had to use jack on breaker bar to break
plugs loose and socket handled it just fine....

Hello.
The right rear tone ring is broken on my 96 Outback wagon
causing abs light to come on.
Could anyone tell me what is involved in replacing it.

One of 2 exhaust bolt/nuts where manifold connects to cat was a PITA.
Couldn't have done without impact wrench. Replaced rack, new outer tie rod ends,
got a front end...
