ugh! new valve train needed

I have 127,600 on my '08 GT, running Mobile1 and was informed the knocking and "check engine" light looks like i have carbon on my valves with an estimated cost of $3,500. ouch! is this reasonable?...

I totally agree and have already lost one ContiExtreme DWS due to a pothole in NJ. you have to jump all over the road to avoid the low profile tire killing potholes.

so the "thump thump thump" were the front suspension bushings shot from my tendancy to go 45-50 on off/on ramps i dont know what LCA means.
