  1. Silver 4th Gen LGT with tint (not too dark, 35%?) on 9 North through Middletown CT. Exhaust tips looked almost stock but the scent was decidedly cat less DP. Debadged, possibly with a L7 overlay on trunk. Also looked to have a aftermarket hood scoop. Car looked good! I was behind you in the silver STI. If that Volvo Cross Country would have gotten out of your way we could have had some fun
  2. Blue 4th Gen LGT Wagon on 95 South in Groton CT around 7:30am. You looked lowered, DRL delete. I was running late so I didn't have much time to look further. I waved but I was moving...
  3. Blue 5th Gen. New London, CT. I spotted you near the police station and followed you onto 95N over GS bridge. Car looked clean, didn't get a chance to wave
  4. Looking good Will! Did you sell the Prodrives or use them for a winter setup?
  5. White LGT wagon on East Main St. in Mystic at 2:15 PM yesterday. I saw you just before you pulled into the gas station.
  6. 5 PM, BSM 4th gen. on 95 N. in Groton, CT. I waved as I passed. I would've scoped your car a little more but I was late.
  7. Possible spec b sighting in Mystic, CT yesterday. You were pulling out of the Mobil station on E. Main St., heading toward the bridge. Looked like QSM, debadged with tint and possibly Rota Gravels (didn't have a great look). I was on Jackson St.
  8. I have Epics on Konis. Not as sharp as my Cobb springs but not nearly as harsh either. Epics have probably been on 4-5 months and no complaints at all. It makes sense to do the springs and struts together but if you don't have the cash, you can wait a while. I had my Cobbs on the stock struts for about a year without blowing them out. I kept going back and forth between the idea of Bilsteins vs. coilovers until I saw walkthroughs and reviews of the Konis. Struts are a good replacement but not as immediately essential as swaybars, tires and LCA bushings IMO. It all depends on where you are in your mod list.
  9. Nom nom nom, tastes like chicken, nom nom nom
  10. Saw a SWP 4th gen on 95 Southbound (Exit 20iirc) at 10 AM. Debadged, grill and exhaust. I waved but I was moving by at a brisk pace. Good to know the Pilot Alpin PA3's are stable at high speed. Car looked good
  11. I'm not sure if the 2.5i and the GT have the same struts but I ran Cobb springs which are very low and pretty stiff for a year and a half before switching to Konis. Even then, they weren't blown, they just couldn't match the spring rates so they were a bad combo.
  12. Thanks! I'll just do the timing belt kit. I didn't think I needed the oil pump but just wanted to make sure I wasn't overlooking something. As always, thanks for the info
  13. Yeah, I don't know if the oil pump is a weak point on modified WRX's, which this shop does a great deal of. I haven't heard of oil pump issues on our cars but thought I'd ask around. I was a little intrigued by FBP describing the oil control valve as a possible cause of stuttering and/or stalling as I have heard of and experienced that. Mine was fixed by raising the idle rpm's with my AP.
