  1. My LGT is back on the road. installed the iBR flex01 kit New flexfuel controller and wiring harness Install was super simple and ethanol readings are identical to what I was seeing prior to the Cobb hardware failure im not sure what caused the issue but the Cobb harness fried itself and melted the wiring from rear o2 12v input to the controller. ibuildracecars.com makes a very slick replacement controller and harness Their unit does not pull 12v from o2, instead it draws from the TGV +5v to power the ethanol sensor I just wish it came in blue or black. The company is based in Pittsburgh, which makes me proud to support a local enthusiast
  2. I never even use my stereo. Forced-induction soundtrack is all I need…
  3. lol. These cars are totaled for next to nothing these days. The pitch stop won’t matter in a crash. That being said, the aluminum/poly bushing units do create a lot of noise. If you’re sensitive to that I’d advise avoiding them for oem.
  4. I’ll be in Houston for a week in April . If someone want me to ship these I can handle that while I’m in town.
  5. I can’t believe these have been available for this long. It’s a very nice setup and mine are great on the street even with a slightly stiffer spring than original.
  6. Maybe. hoping I can just fix what I already own. If not https://www.ibuildracecars.com/store/flx01-upgrade
  7. Welp. For the first time in 15 years the Subaru is broke. Started it up yesterday, dash lights up, CEL, running rough, SMOKE Under the hood! I shut it down and followed the smoke to my Flex Fuel wiring harness. Something is shorting and melting the wiring. I’ll pull it apart when I get back from work in two weeks. Yay. At least it’s sitting in the garage.
  8. I have a full tan interior from a 2009 that I’m willing to part out if it helps anyone.
  9. 1 of 19 if I remember correctly. Only a few SWP SpecB have popped up on the forum over the years. One has been documented as wrecked in the PNW. One sold a few years back. Another was pretty heavily modified then sold by Berkshire40(iirc) and never resurfaced. I’ve modified my gt to be the swp spec B I couldn’t buy new. She’s a beaut. I’m at 57k miles. Just when I think I’m the lowest mileage LGT around…
  10. Oooo just wait until you wipe down the interior and can’t turn off the parking lights!
  11. They did the same on my car. Tuned on 93oct down to about 1/4 tank and then filled her up from a drum of the good stuff.
  12. No. E85 from the pump is never truly 85% unless you’re buying it direct from a specialty supplier. It varies wildly between stations as well as seasons. Winter blend gets less alcohol. Even at that I’ve never remember seeing anything below the upper 60% ish in my area. This is part of the convenience of the flexfuel kit. You don’t have to worry if you get a low e%, the tune will be adjusted to be safe. So no sitting at a gas station with a beaker checking ethanol content the old fashioned way and loading a tune.
  13. I’ve had e78+ around Pittsburgh. I’d bet our year-round average is over e70 in my area.
