Other than this banjo filter issue (which to me seems like it can be mitigated by changing the oil and oil filter at intervals of about 3000 miles) what are the other sources of failure for this engine? I just bought a rather used one at 90,000 miles which has had service records up to that point. I really want to keep it to at least 200,000 and beyond.
Not really sure what to do about my bolt. I do not have the tools or experience to perform such a task, even though it is simple to many of you. I'd rather not just bank on changing my oil frequently, I probably should check it out sometime very soon. I love the car, but this makes me quite worried with all the horror stories.
