  1. Worn out bushings, but otherwise fine. One left and one right. Removed from a 2005 GT wagon. Located in Mission Viejo. Pickup only.
  2. Sold Location: Mission Viejo, California $100 each for the non-bent wheels They all have some level of curb rash and flaws in the finish. Tires: Nankang Noble Sport NS-20 Tread depth: 7/32" Size: 235/40/18
  3. We took 9 days. Spent most of our time in the eastern half of the country and had to rush through the western 1/3 to 1/2 of the trip.
  4. Thanks! I had 18x8 +45mm wheels with 235/40 tires that were fine until a wheel was destroyed by a big rock on the road. I found these on Craigslist and thought they would rub for sure. Luckily the seller was okay with letting me test fit and drive around to confirm they were okay. Much to my surprise, they haven't rubbed. LOL, I actually wanted to drive across the country and the plane tickets were only about $100 per person so I never looked into shipping costs. My cost was $50 hotels (except in Vail, Colorado ), gas, food, and $200 in plane tickets. I would encourage anyone to do the same if they can swing it. You get to see the country and you don't have to do a round-trip. I would have done it by myself, but it was even better that my significant other was able to go. Most non-car (or adventurous) people that heard about it thought I was crazy. It wouldn't have been much fun if I had to drive straight home though.
  5. SOLD for $5,800 via Facebook Year, Make and Model: 2005 Subaru Legacy GT Limited Wagon 5MT Color: Atlantic Blue Pearl Miles: 204,000 Transmission: 5-speed manual Title: Clean title Lien: No lien Location: Mission Viejo, CA VIN: 4S3BP676956350149 Asking Price: $6,273 Contact: Send PM and include email and/or phone number if you prefer those contact methods History and Background Purchased in 2008 from a seller on LGT.com with 63k miles (prior FS thread) My requirements when shopping for this car were a GT wagon in Limited trim, manual transmission, black interior, and ABP exterior. After figuring out from the Official MY2005 production numbers by model & color thread that there were only 24 produced in this configuration, I cast a wide net while shopping. A match popped up in Rhode Island so I flew out from LAX to Boston with the woman that is now my wife on a Friday red-eye flight. After meeting with the seller and completing the deal, we took the next 9 days to drive back to California while visiting friends and family and being tourists. It was a great trip and my daily driver prior to the LGT wagon was a 2002 WRX wagon purchased new in 2001. I fully expected to keep this car forever. Reason for Selling: 2 drivers in the house with 3 cars and we both work from home permanently now. Sadly, the Prius and big SUV make the most sense for me to keep. I think I still have it in 2 pieces but I'm not sure if it could be glued and reattached or not. I ran into the 20 attachment limit on LGT.com. There are 37 photos in an Imgur gallery. There's probably one or more things I'm forgetting. Please let me know if you have any questions.
  6. Tread looks good, not sure if it has been used or not. Holds air. Came from a 2005 LGT. I live in Mission Viejo and work in Long Beach. Willing to meet at either location or points in between if convenient. Tire size is 135/70/17 $25.
  7. Here are the part numbers I gathered for this job, at least on my 2005 Legacy GT (4cyl, 2.5L turbo). Quantities in parentheses. (4) 13293AA051 - Inner Valve Cover Gasket / Spark Plug Hole (1) 13270AA190 - Valve Cover Gasket right side (1) 13272AA140 - Valve Cover Gasket left side (4) 11051AA070 - Plug Cylinder Head (half moon seals) For anyone looking in the FSM, search for ROCKER COVER instead of VALVE COVER.
  8. I don't understand MrTris's photo. It appears to be saying to apply UltraBlack all the way around rather than select areas specified in the FSM. Am I misunderstanding?
  9. It might look a little better if you put a small radius on the top outside edge where the vent portion meets the dashboard.
  10. Thanks Phil. I tried archive.org but must have used the wrong URL. Now I can save it to Evernote like I should have done in the first place.
  11. Any chance you can get to reposting the photos? It'd be great to reference.
  12. Just curious - why is the left pod sitting further back than the right pod? I would expect the opposite. Is it to reduce intrusion into the vent airstream?
  13. I think that adding a hood/shade over the gauge pod would be a nice aesthetic enhancement.
