Dang! I just called the dealer about mine, I got $1058 for parts and labor on the 2.5i. Parts alone were $250 (w/o flywheel) I thought that was a lot. jeez.

Is the fluid full? Definitely change it, hopefully it's been changed before, cause 130K miles on transmission fluid I'd be surprised if it still shifted at all.

I got the "Actron/ OBDII elite autoscanner". It'll do obd1, 2, and CAN if you buy the cables for obd1 and can. got it from autozone. I think it was like 250. does data logging too. I'm pretty happy...
