As far as I know there is no fix all done by Subaru. I believe it requires a change to emissions which they can/will not do. My Outback still does it, and still annoying.

Your "normal" or "high" mpg readings are also important to know. Mine was running 21.5 mpg mixed driving until I had a cylinder compression problem fixed, and it won't run less than 24mpg now.

I've had the fix for about 4 days now, and it is about 50-70% better for me.
I can still feel it in 3rd and some in 4th gear but less prominent. Haven't noticed any change in power.
