I've never needed "extra grip" for my si control. Looks nice though, just wish it wasn't held on by tape.

Hair spray is good I have heard. WD-40 might work too. Defiantly do a spot check in an inconspicuous spot first to make sure it doesn't damage the leather.

Use weed wacker line to clean out the drain tubes. Anything metal (coat hanger) could ripe the rubber tubes. Sometimes compressed air can break the glue bond of the tube and connectors..... just done...

08-09 and maybe other yrs have a seat rail issue. Mine does the same thing, it creaks all the time. Next oil change I am having the dealer install a new rail (should be covered under warranty)

And its not like he choose to get rear ended and hit at a stop sign. He is more of a "glass half full" kinda guy and found some positive in 2 otherwise very frustrating situations.
