I wouldn't say buying from the states in the only option, but I would say it's a better option. Base on my research, I found that most canadian vendors charge way too much for those parts.

Update after 6 months.

It was -10F last few days here.
No signs of 4th gear grind, and same effort as stock getting into 1st gear during cold.

This cocktail works well for me.

Yeah, I know that's a little confusing. But that's from the Subaru official wiring diagram, representing the front of the plug, not the rear.

If you flip the harness around, the wiring will match...

Squeak is from the engine bay, not the pedal.


I remove the intercooler and lube the fork and piston.

A decent upgrade over stock, I also changed the brake fluid to ATE Blue D4.
