FS (NJ): Cobb Access Port V2 (SUB-002) Un-married!

Up for sale is a Cobb SUB-002 Access Port from my 2006 Legacy GT. The Access Port has been properly un-married from my car (see picture taken during un-install process). All parts are in excellent...

Gotta disagree with you on this one

The purpose of placing the paddles in a stationary position on the steering column is so that you always know exactly where they are, regardless of what position the steering wheel is in. Any...

This is all I want - why can't we have it?

As long as it has the fold-flat rear seats, steering wheel audio controls, auto-dimming mirrors, and NAV as an option, this is all I want. Plus, you can choose stick or auto. Perfect. Why the heck...

Kind of correct

VIP program guarantees you invoice plus any applicable rebates/financing that SOA is offering at the time. When I bought my car this would have been invoice-$1000, just like you paid. Fortunately,...

Anyone know if the "memory" feature includes the mirror settings as well?

While driver seat memory is great, unless they combine it with side view mirror memory as well, it's kind of dumb.

At least they added a split fold rear seat. Now all they need is a...

I got the survey too

Definitely marketing driven. To be very honest though, the survery should have allowed you to choose more than one feature you feel that your '06 Legacy was missing. Personally, I wanted to check...

Is it safe to remove the plastic cover above the brake pedal?

If so, how do you do it. I contantly hit my toe on the stupid cover, and I'm only a size 10.5. Maybe I didn't search right, but I don't think anyone described the process for removing the cover. ...

Wow, didn't think I'd get this much feedback

Thanks for all your comments. And as far as I can tell, they did get rid of the "maximum brightness" button for '06. It looks like I have to turn my dash light switch all the way up for max bright.

Question for GT owners with Polarized sunglasses

When reading the manual for my new GT, I noticed something about possible difficulties seeing the electroluminescent displays on the GTs when driving with Polarized sunglasses? I don't have a pair...

My brand new car is doing this too

Kind of a squeak/rattle type noise from the rear drivers's side door window area. Kind of sounds like the noise is coning from higher up on the door, closer to the ceiling. Is this what everyone...

Give the conti extremes a shot

I used them on my '94 Honda Accord (with a stick-the car sucked in the snow for a FWD by the way) and found them to be a great all around tire. Snow traction was by far the best of any all season...

If you care about Sound Quality

Try a set of Nakamichi or Focal speakers. Some of the Pioneer Premiers sound nice as well. Personally, I still feel that JL speakers push a little too much treble to be considered accurate (plus...

LGT vs. S60R

I've driven both back to back as well

As much as I loved how the LGT drove, I gotta give the overall better review to the S60R. I think if you took the two out on a road course, the Volvo would spank the Subie by a fair bit. While the...

Ummmm . . . anyone ever see an NHRA Super Stock Race?

They have two classes, SS automatic and SS manual - same rules, same motors same cars (take for example a 1968 Barracuda with a Hemi in it - consistently one of the fastest cars in the category). ...

I thought they eliminated the fold down seat due to the rear impact testing? I guess it would help some in side impact as well. Frankly, I'll trade the tiny bit of safety for the convenience of...
