  1. Welcome to the sexy girl avatar club!
  2. Saw a white WRX with CF hood pulled over by two cops on 84 east today at 3:20pm
  3. Just did my DRL disable. As for pictures, I just finished up and put everything back, but the DRL module looks exactly like TwinkE's pictures; no noticeable differences. The description of how to get there also matches previous descriptions in this thread: Under the steering column, 3 popits, two are like, screw in popits, one is a straight up popit. After pulling that panel out (it doesn't come ALL the way out, because of one connector that connects to the panel) if you look up above the clutch, you will see a black box that has a sticker on it labeled: "Cont. DRL Module" I think. (Control DRL Module?) I think that's what mine said. Connected to that black box are two connectors, one white and one black. You will want to pull the black one. Stick a small screwdriver tip into the hook and yank the connector out. I had a really hard time pushing in the wire pin to get it out the other side, so I ended up cutting it like many others. There just isn't a lot of space in there to do a lot of maneuvering. Thanks everyone for such an elaborate thread to make this process really easy!!
  4. Hi Paul,

I am offering you a deal of a lifetime... if you can release that turbo kit for 05+ Legacy 2.5i's by the end of the summer, I will send a dozen hot hookers of any nationality to your house at no cost. ;)

    Sincerely,

    Turbo4meplz

  5. HID's really don't cost that much... if you look at some of the kits on this website, they will only run you around $50 more than sylvania silverstars or even less if you go for the ULTRA's. And for the longevity that HID's give you versus the silverstars, it is definitely worth it. Pay $100 for HID's now, have them going strong for a number of years, looking brighter and hotter (hotter is subjective, brighter is not), or replace your bulbs with Silverstars... pay $40, and have them burn out in a year...
  6. Ya I peeked over the guy's shoulder when he was looking it up, two items showed up and the Silverstars were one of them; they just didn't have them in stock. I guess I'll just try them on for size and see what happens.
  7. Went to autozone today, asked for 3457 Silverstar bulbs but they ran out. Are there bulbs that are clear that blink amber? All I've been hearing are silvery bulbs that blink amber and blue tinted bulbs that blink amber. Dunno about clear...
  8. I did something REALLY stupid that I don't care to mention, hahaha. But I'll tell you that if you do it properly (which isn't that hard.. if I weren't being retarded I would have done it properly and I am a horrible DIYer) you shouldn't have problems. I only get moisture after a car wash where the water sprays up from under the car (this one pressure wash place called Mr. Sparkle did that) and the moisture just went away by itself for a while. No problems whatsoever. I will be redoing my headlights soon though, it should be much easier the second time when you already know where all the screws are and how to pry it apart and everything. An extra tube of silicon sealant never hurts.
  9. haha yeah, she looks cold but also sooo hot
  10. I was actually thinking about getting the blue tinted ones instead of the silver tinted ones... One caught my eye on a VW one day in a parking lot, I was like, that doesn't look half back. But definitely, post up some pics when you finish that and lemme see how it looks. I won't have time to open up my headlights until June probably so you have plenty of time! Trying to redo my angel eyes haha.
  11. Sup buddy! Looks like it was a chilly day at the beach down there...
  12. Ahhhh I see, thanks Doc! FYI for everyone that this applies to; turn signals for 06 and 08 Legacies are apparently different, though I'm not sure if it makes a difference. http://www.sylvania.com/ConsumerProducts/AutomotiveLighting/LampReplacementGuide/ 06's have 3157 for turn signals 08's have 3457's for turn signals
  13. Those are supposed to be used for turn signals? I thought silverstars were supposed to be for low beams and such lol
