Oh....damnit. I thought that it was the clear coat that is cracking, therefor a recoat of the clearcoat would be a decent fix. When you say....refinished...that means expensive right?

Well a "couple thousand more" was simply not an option for a student who is paying $70,000 for school. And a used SUBIE GT that was fixed (as I was lead to believe) is certainly better than a VW GTI...
