With the ABS diagnostic terminal grounded with (B81 grounds) I get a variety of codes through the OBD. PO500 speed sensor A and 1540 speed sensor 2 PO130. So which is speed sensor A or 2 ? I guess...

I have ck'd the front wheel sensors(the space between is a bit more than max .055 in) but
the electrical appears within .8 + 1.2 k ohms at the connector. Is there any other way to diagnose this...

Thanks for another suggestion. I checked and cleaned the front tone rings(circular bracket that holds the lug bolts?) they are all in good condition. Where do I look now?

Thanks for your responses. I have ck'd and greased the sliding pins, the rotors look in in good shape and I am unable to find any numbers on them.
I have test driven with the 20amp ABS fuse removed...

The CK engine light has been on continuously and before touching anything. I checked hoses from manifold to passenger strut and all appear in good shape- even bending them and no obvious cracks....

I will try to have it reread as I can not pass an upcoming inspection until the ck engine light is out. I am between mechanics as my mechanic for many years is AWOL. Which is a longer story.

I did have Auto Zone do a reading/ gave no codes, just that I needed an EVAP test. Other's suggestions led me to check or replace the things I had replaced

1998 Subaru Impreza Outback with 198,000 miles I have replaced air filter and gas tank cap, cleaned MAPS sensor, checked hoses I can see and added clamps at slightly loose hoses on charcoal filter
