That wouldn't be a problem with a stock 5MT. A built tranny is a built tranny, for 5k it should be able to handle whatever is thrown at it.

The 2005 Legacy GT Limited comes in at 3365, the Non Limited is the one that is 3300. So its really only a 50lb weight difference between 05 and 07 which isn't all that much.

I plan to eventually change my downpipe and midpipe, both catted. I don't want loud, I want a decent deep sound. Would using aftermarket cans make it that much louder than stock cans?
