Replaced both front axles. Little trouble on the driver side but I managed. On to Valve cover gasket, timing belt, water pump crank seal tomorrow!

Yea definitely no fun. I may take it to a cheap body shop in town after I get it on the road officially, which is about 4 brake rotors and one stuck caliper replacement away.

lol, well....what you have to do is crack the top of each fog light lamp to allow water to get into them and..ta da! Obviously, that's not what I did, the fog lights are just damaged and get moisture...

Our dealership is more of the ma and pa style, the techs are either paid salary or hourly. Therefore we're always cheaper than our in town competing Subaru dealer. $1,800 is a good price.

The delay going into gear is a seal in the back of the trans, pretty common actually. I'm a tech at a Subaru Dealership. Either it will have to come out and come apart anyways.
