not needed... no. Not needed for bnr warranty the last i heard too. Just ask bryan at bnr what he recommends to make the warranty stick. I dont think there was a 'certain one' that he mandated.

If you go 18g you're going to need injectors as well. 52 and 16g are fine on pump with stock injectors.
