If you get coilovers for the same model year, they should fit. People also put forester springs on your shocks (makes it stiffer). Don't quote me on all of that, haven't messed with older legacys.

I did not lower the suspension the coil overs all the way down. I took a guess of on where I wanted it then adjusted height until I was happy.

Pictures were when I was running 225 60 16 for tires...

Does the treat suspension have oem camber adjustment bolts built in to them? Or do you need to buy camber bolts?

Went with megan racing coilovers for an outback....

Went with megan racing coilovers for an outback. Fit was fine, just tweak them in to what you want and get an alignment. It makes the rears camber in. I did not go airbags.

Installed a set. Lifted it one inch from what I set it to. Align and run. You might need camber bolts. I didn't align mine yet.
