What if you caused/were involved in a wreck? Lot's of possibilities right there, especially if you have to get towed. A lot of local/county LEOs look for that stuff in the normal course of business.

Almost, the sensors etc. are trying to make it so the stoichiometric mixture (air-fuel ratio where all fuel is burned) is 14.7 to 1. That's the "ideal" ratio needed for internal combustion engines...
